Adjustable drill-mounted cutter for selected circular openings
Description: BoltForce hole saw is listed with an adjustable 30–120 mm cutting range, two opposing blades, two interchangeable centre drills, a hex key, and alloy-steel wording. It may suit selected wood, plywood, laminate, composite board, rubber, and plastic work when the material, drill, speed, thickness, and received instructions are compatible. Listed dimensions are 21 cm × 16 cm × 3 cm and listed weight is 328 g.
Key features
- Adjustable 30–120 mm diameter range as listed; measure and mark the required opening, then verify the bars, blades, centre drill, and fasteners are set correctly before mounting.
- Two opposing blades as listed; inspect teeth, screws, bars, centre drills, arbor, and guards for damage or looseness before every use.
- Two interchangeable centre drills and hex key as listed; verify the exact shank, drill, blade, and accessory compatibility with the received kit.
- Alloy-steel wording as listed; material grade, heat treatment, coating, blade hardness, wear resistance, and service life are not independently confirmed.
- Selected woodworking/DIY use only after checking the workpiece, thickness, embedded hardware, backing, and manufacturer instructions. One cutter kit supplied unless the received package states otherwise.
Power-tool, cutting, and safety notes
- Read the received hole-saw, blade, drill, material, speed, adjustment, PPE, and warning instructions before use. If you are not trained to operate a drill and rotating cutter, use a qualified operator.
- Use only with a compatible drill or tool whose chuck, arbor, speed range, torque, guard, handle, and operating instructions support this accessory. Do not use in an incompatible driver, impact mode, hammer mode, grinder, lathe, or improvised setup.
- Disconnect the drill from power or remove its battery before fitting, adjusting, measuring, changing blades/centre drills, clearing debris, or inspecting the cutter. Tighten all fasteners with the specified method and check again before starting.
- Secure the workpiece to a stable bench. Keep both hands on the drill as required, maintain a balanced stance, keep the cable clear, and ensure the bit will not contact hidden wiring, plumbing, fasteners, glass, masonry, metal, or people behind the workpiece.
- Wear suitable eye protection and hearing protection; use respiratory protection and ventilation appropriate to the material and dust. Keep loose hair, clothing, jewellery, gloves, and cords away from rotating parts.
- Start at the received recommended speed and light pressure. Do not force, wobble, stall, reverse direction under load, or exceed the 30–120 mm range. The cutter may grab, bind, kick back, break, overheat, or throw fragments.
- Keep the drill and cutter aligned with the marked centre. Do not hold the workpiece by hand, cut toward the body, place fingers near blades, or reach under the workpiece while the tool is rotating.
- Stop immediately if there is vibration, wobble, unusual noise, smoke, smell, binding, sparking, loose hardware, blade movement, overheating, or a change in cutting behaviour. Disconnect power before investigating.
- Allow the blades, centre drill, arbor, and workpiece to cool. Do not touch hot metal or use water, oil, or chemicals on a powered or hot cutter unless the received instructions permit it.
- Confirm the selected material is suitable. Dust and fragments from wood, laminates, composites, rubber, and plastics may irritate the eyes, skin, and lungs; some coatings or plastics may melt or release hazardous fumes when heated. Do not cut asbestos, unknown composites, treated materials, or hazardous substances without qualified assessment and controls.
- Provide ventilation and control dust with a method approved for the material. Do not blow debris toward the face or use compressed air where it can spread dust. Keep food, medicines, children, pets, and bystanders away from the cutting area.
- Do not assume perfect, clean, precise, balanced, stable, heavy-duty, professional, effortless, accurate, durable, wear-resistant, or universal cutting. Hole size, edge finish, alignment, material damage, and tool life vary.
- Inspect blades, centre drills, bars, screws, arbor, and hex key after use. Do not use bent, chipped, cracked, blunt, rusty, loose, modified, or contaminated parts. Do not sharpen or repair unless qualified and the received instructions permit it.
- Wipe and dry metal parts as directed to reduce corrosion. Do not use abrasive chemicals, solvents, heat, or water unless expressly permitted. Keep cutting edges covered or secured when not mounted.
- Keep children and pets away from blades, centre drills, hex key, screws, swarf, packaging, drill, batteries, and workpieces. These present cut, puncture, choking, ingestion, dust, electrical, noise, and impact hazards. This is not a toy.
- Adult supervision is required around children or dependent users; do not allow them to operate, adjust, carry, or play with the cutter or drill.
- Store disconnected, clean, dry, and protected from moisture, heat, crushing, rust, sharp objects, unauthorised access, children, and pets. Keep blades and small parts together in secure packaging and label the selected diameter.
- Dispose of worn blades, metal swarf, drill parts, plastics, wood dust, packaging, and contaminated PPE through local waste and recycling guidance. Place sharp parts in a rigid container before disposal.
- Compatibility, diameter accuracy, cutting speed, edge finish, material range, heat, dust, kickback, durability, corrosion resistance, and service life vary; no precision, clean-cut, heavy-duty, durable, wear-resistant, professional, effortless, stable, accurate, or guaranteed result is promised.
