Surface, chemical, and hygiene notes
- Read the received mitt, surface, chemical, electronics, laundering, and warning instructions before use. A soft-looking textile is not automatically scratch-free or safe for every surface.
- Test a clean, hidden area first, especially on screens, lenses, coated glass, polished wood, high-gloss paint, plastics, vehicle trim, vinyl, leather, chrome, silver, and delicate finishes. Remove grit and metal particles before wiping.
- Do not use on live electrical equipment, open ports, keyboards, fans, speakers, sockets, hot surfaces, food, skin, wounds, animals, or medical devices unless the relevant manufacturer instructions expressly allow it.
- Keep electronics switched off, unplugged, cool, and dry. Use a barely damp mitt only where the device instructions permit it, and prevent moisture from entering seams, vents, buttons, connectors, and screens.
- Use only a compatible cleaning product. Do not mix bleach, acids, ammonia, solvents, disinfectants, oils, polishes, or detergents, and follow the chemical label, dilution, ventilation, and PPE requirements.
- Wear suitable gloves and eye protection where concentrated chemicals, contaminated residue, dust, mould, or splashing is possible. The mitt does not provide chemical, heat, cut, electrical, or biological protection.
- Separate mitts or cleaning zones for food-contact areas, bathrooms, toilets, pet areas, vehicles, chemicals, and outdoor dirt. Do not use one contaminated mitt on food, utensils, baby items, or another person.
- Do not rub hard, polish abrasive particles, or apply repeated pressure to a delicate surface. Stop for streaking, haze, colour transfer, scratching, snagging, lint, residue, coating change, or damage.
- Wet floors, spills, and chemical residues can cause slips. Maintain stable footing and do not use the mitt as a pad, grip, support, or step.
- Inspect before and after use for loose threads, holes, shedding fibres, trapped grit, staining, odour, contamination, or loss of shape. Replace rather than reuse a mitt that cannot be cleaned adequately.
- Wash by hand or machine only if permitted by the received care label, using mild detergent and a gentle cycle. Do not use bleach, fabric softener, harsh chemicals, hot water, high heat, or tumble-drying unless expressly permitted.
- Rinse thoroughly, dry completely in a ventilated area, and do not store wet in a sealed container or against food, clothing, wood, electronics, or other porous materials. Keep contaminated laundry separate where appropriate.
- Keep children and pets away from the mitt, cleaning chemicals, dust, mould, contaminated residue, packaging, loose threads, and wet work areas. These may present chemical, ingestion, choking, eye, slip, and entanglement hazards. This is not a toy.
- Store clean and dry, away from heat, sunlight, moisture, sharp objects, chemicals, food, children, and pets. Dispose of worn textile, contaminated material, and packaging through local household-waste guidance.
