Installation, visibility, and safety notes
- Read the received shade, fit, installation, care, heat, and warning instructions before use. Park safely, switch off the vehicle, apply the parking brake, and install only when it is safe to stand beside the vehicle.
- Measure the inside of the windshield and compare its shape, height, width, mirror position, sensors, cameras, rain sensors, toll tags, stickers, dashboard contours, and visor clearance. Do not force the shade into place or obstruct required vehicle equipment.
- Install from inside the parked vehicle so the shade sits flat and cannot fall into the driver’s view. Use only the retaining method supplied or permitted by the received instructions; do not use improvised cords, magnets, adhesives, clips, or objects that could damage the glass or deployable systems.
- Remove completely before driving. Do not drive, reverse, use mirrors, or operate controls with the shade installed, folded across the dashboard, or blocking the windshield, side windows, mirrors, sensors, cameras, airbags, defroster vents, or instrument panel.
- Do not place behind or over an airbag cover, steering wheel, dashboard-mounted sensor, camera, speaker, defroster, or warning label. A shade can interfere with deployment, visibility, ventilation, or vehicle controls.
- Reflective material may create glare or concentrated reflections. Do not aim reflected sunlight toward people, vehicles, cyclists, traffic, buildings, dry grass, fuel, or flammable materials. Remove or reposition if glare reaches other road users.
- Do not assume the shade blocks a specific percentage of UV radiation, prevents interior fading, makes the cabin cool, or eliminates the need to ventilate. It does not cool occupants, replace vehicle air conditioning, or make a parked vehicle safe for people or animals.
- Never leave children, pets, elderly people, or dependent persons in a parked vehicle, even with a shade installed. Interior temperatures can become dangerous. Keep children and pets away from the shade, reflective film, folded edges, packaging, and securing parts.
- Keep away from flames, heaters, hot engine parts, electrical wiring, fuel, chemicals, sharp dashboard components, and direct contact with heated glass unless the received instructions permit it. Materials may soften, deform, peel, or become hot.
- Inspect before each use for tears, punctures, loose layers, sharp edges, exposed frame, corrosion, broken fasteners, damaged reflective film, and detached fragments. Do not use a damaged shade where it could fall or obstruct visibility.
- Wind, doors, vibration, car washes, rain, condensation, and repeated folding may move or damage the shade. Do not assume windproof, waterproof, rainproof, UV-resistant, heat-proof, fade-resistant, or all-weather performance. Remove before washing the vehicle.
- Keep the shade dry when storing. If wet, wipe and air-dry fully before folding to reduce odour, mould, staining, corrosion, or backing damage. Do not machine wash, iron, bleach, solvent-clean, or use abrasive cleaners unless expressly permitted.
- Use a soft cloth for light cleaning only if the received instructions permit it. Do not scratch, puncture, cut, sew, paint, or modify the reflective surface or any frame.
- Fold only after removing it from the windshield and checking that no person, pet, object, or electrical component is trapped. Keep fingers away from folding edges, wire frames, clips, and pinch points.
- Store folded or as directed in a clean, dry, cool location protected from crushing, sharp objects, sunlight, heat, moisture, chemicals, children, and pets. Do not place heavy items on it.
- Dispose of damaged aluminum foil, plastic/foam backing, wires, fasteners, and packaging through local household-waste or recycling guidance. Wrap sharp or exposed components and do not burn unknown materials.
