Installation, water-pressure, heat and cleaning safety
- Turn off the tap before installation. Clean and dry the threads, fit the correct washer or adapter, hand-tighten as directed and check alignment before opening water gradually.
- Do not cross-thread, over-tighten, use unapproved sealants, force mismatched connectors or hang weight from the hose. A loose or incompatible fitting can leak, detach or damage the tap.
- Test at low flow over an empty sink. Check every joint, hose, swivel and spray outlet for leakage, movement and splashing before ordinary use; retighten only as instructed.
- Verify the tap’s water pressure and temperature against the attachment instructions. Do not use boiling water, steam, pressure-washer flow or a hot-water setting unless explicitly rated for it; hot spray can burn and can soften or deform plastic.
- Keep the spray directed into the sink or basin and away from people, eyes, electrical sockets, appliances, cabinets, floors and unsealed surfaces. Do not use as a body or eye shower unless the product is specifically designed and rated for that purpose.
- Do not leave the tap running unattended. Close the tap after use and inspect for drips, hose bulges, cracks, loose threads, damaged seals, blocked outlet or sudden pressure changes.
- Use in kitchens and bathrooms only for the tasks supported by the faucet and product instructions. Do not assume potable-water certification, food-contact suitability, drinking-water use or compatibility with chemicals.
- Clean the exterior and outlet with mild soap and water. Remove limescale only with a method approved for the material; do not use bleach, solvents, abrasive pads, needles or harsh chemicals that can damage openings or seals.
- Before cleaning, adapting, removing or descaling, turn off the tap and release pressure. Do not submerge the attachment if the product includes any non-water-resistant part.
- Inspect body, threads, washers, seals, hose, swivel and spray plate for cracks, corrosion, deformation, sharp edges, blockage or leaking. Stop use and shut off the water if the attachment or tap connection becomes unstable.
